Sou professor de natação, e meus alunos são em sua maioria crianças. É engraçado como muitas delas se espelham em Michael Phelps e esperam um dia alcançar resultados semelhantes. Infelismente, sou realista, sei que por maior que sejam os estímulos, o prazer pela natação que elas tem, e a vontade de vencer os mini campeonatos, reconheço a precariedade de nossa realidade brasileira em relação aos treinamentos específicos voltados para natação e formação de atletas de alto nível e o apoio que os mesmos recebem do Governo e de entidades empresariais.
O exemplo de Cielo que treinou fora do Brasil e só ficou conhecido nas Olimpíadas, deixa claro que para alcançar resultados grandiosos, é necessário grandiosos sacrifícios. Acredito que Phelps é prova viva de que com oportunidades maiores, melhores, porém com extremo sacrifício e principalmente apoio(seja de marketing, patrocínio, etc.) os resultados são conseguidos com maior “facilidade”.

o safado foi um dos únicos na olimpíadas a usar um traje feito sobe medida pro seu corpo, e levou muita vantagem na época por causa disso. Agora que todos tem a mesma tecnologia ele quer chorar, tadinho, vá fumar uma maconha e vai nadar pra ver se a casa não cai.
